Join A Way Out Ministries at "The Meadow" to help serve their ministry to women in the Memphis area who have been rescued from the sex trade industry. Meet at GEC 8:45am, eat some breakfast, pray together, and go serve and learn more about A Way Out Ministries!
Here is the schedule:
Arrive to Grace Evan's Wood Hall - 8:45-9:00am
Short time of breakfast, instruction, and prayer - 9:00-9:20
Get in vehicle and drive to The Meadow location - 9:20-10:10am
Visit ministry site - 10:10am-1:00ish*Note: We will feed you a pizza lunch on the AWO ministry site.
*Because of the nature of what AWO does for ministry, people participating at the Meadow location will need to sign an NDA agreement and also their Release of Liability form. Please click below:
Requested tasks needed for that morning:
- Cleaning/Organizing: moving boxes/bins and items one set of stairs from first floor into lofted area, sweeping/dusting
- Skilled Trade:
- Tile work: tile floors in two bathrooms and small foyer area
- Landscaping: weed wacking, chainsaw fallen trees, if you own equipment and can trailer - zero turn mowers, skid steer for small dirt work/erosion control, tractor and bush hog
- Cement Drive: frame and cement small ramp into building at 10 foot garage door
